William P. Fatherree Sr., 78, of Ashdown, AR passed away June 30, 2016.

Mr. Fatherree was born December 3, 1937 in Lockesburg, AR to Frank and Viola Fatherree. He was retired from the military as a Master Chief in the Navy. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Ashdown, AR.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Shirley Fatherree of Ashdown,AR; two sons, William Paul Fatherree Jr, and Daniel Fatherree of Texarkana, TX; three daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Bernie Kreul of Texarkana, AR; Renee and AL Henderson of Ashdown, AR;Paulette Dunn of Texarkana, AR; two brothers, Charles Fathereeof Brooklyn, MI, Kenneth Fatherrree of Greenbriar, AR; two sisters, Shirley Hatch of Cabot, AR, and Edna Faye Fatherree of Texarkana, AR; Eighteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday July 3, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown, AR,

Funeral Servcies will be Monday July 4, 2016 at 10:00 am at St.Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Ashdown, AR with Father Paul Worm and Father Lawrence Chellaian officiating. Burial will follow at Coulter Cemetery in Lockesburg, AR under the direction of Madden Funeral Home.
