Rebecca Sue Burns, 70, of Ashdown, AR passed away May 12, 2017 in Ashdown. Mrs. Burns was born February 2, 1947 in Ada, OK to Floyd and Alpha Landon. She was the Ashdown City Librarian for over twenty years. She also had a passion for cake decorating. Mrs. Burn is preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Burns is survived by her husband, Ralph Burns, two sons, John Burns and Steven Burns of Ashdown, one daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Russell Ryan of Texarkana, AR, and three grandchildren, Alan Burns, Gillian Ryan, and Piper Ryan.
Visitation will be Monday, May 15, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 at the Madden Funeral Home Chapel in Ashdown. Services will be Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 10:00 at the Madden Funeral Home Chapel in Ashdown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ashdown City Library.
