Rebecca Jane Biggs passed away on February 1, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. She was born in Ashdown, Arkansas on July 17, 1953 to Randolph "Doc" Biggs and Evalyn Josephine Blake Biggs. Rebecca graduated from Ashdown High School in 1972. After graduating from Cossatot Vocational School, she worked as a licensed practical nurse at Little River Memorial Hospital for 25 years. Rebecca was also the primary caregiver for her mother for many years. She was always a warm, caring, and generous person and a devoted daughter, sister, and friend. Rebecca was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Arkansas Razorbacks. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ashdown. She is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sister, Jo Ann Biggs of Dallas, Texas; her cousin, Thomas B. Fomby of Dallas, Texas; and several other cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017, 11:00 AM at Ashdown Cemetery with David Formby officiating. Visitation will be Friday, February 3, 2017 from 1:30 to 3:00 at First United Methodist Church, Ashdown.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Ashdown or Ashdown Cemetery Association.
