Peggy Skipworth, 81, of Ashdown, AR, passed away March 19, 2018 in a Texarkana, TX hospital. She was born February 24, 1937 in Gillham, AR to William and Herley Helms. Mrs. Skipworth enjoyed cooking and gardening. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Emmett, two brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Steve Skipworth and Kim Bodoczky of Houston, TX and one brother-in-law, Hal Smith of Clearlake Oaks, CA.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown. Services will be Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 2:00 at First United Methodist Church of Ashdown with Jim Cross officiating. Interment to follow at Ashdown Cemetery.
