Nina Virginia Hinton, 79, of Ashdown, Ark., died Sunday, June 24, 2018. Mrs. Hinton was born on July 12, 1938, in Cerrogordo, Arkansas to Bill and Sarah McDonald. Mrs. Hinton is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.W. Hinton; and son, Jimmy Hinton.
Mrs. Hinton was a member of First Baptist Church in Wilton, Ark. and former Deputy Treasurer for Little River County.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, David Hinton of Branson, Missouri, and Jeff and Carla Hinton of Texarkana, TX.; two brothers and two sisters- in-law, Frank and Sylvia McDonald of Foreman, Ark., and Jim and Brenda McDonald of DeQueen, Ark.; one sister, Jean Higgins of DeQueen, Ark.; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Sue Hinton of Texarkana, Ark.; sister-in-law, Donna Hinton of Ashdown, Ark.; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 9:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, at Ashdown Cemetery. Chris Clayton will be officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, June 29, 6 to 8 p.m., at Madden Funeral Home.
