Michael Lee Nunn, 71, of Wilton AR passed away September 15, 2016 in a local facility.

Mr. Nunn was born August 6, 1945 in Atlanta, TX to Johnny Allen and Florence Nunn. He was a member of Wilton First Baptist Church in Wilton, AR. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Cuban Missile Crisis. He loved his horses, baseball, football and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Johnny and Florence Nunn, his son, Michael Lee Nunn II, his sister, Kathy Nunn Cromer and his brother Robert (Bob) Nunn.

Survived by his wife Brenda Nunn of Wilton,Arkansas, daughters and one son-in-law, Florence Nunn of Magnolia, Arkansas, Michelle Lovett of Houston,Texas and Melissa and TJ Blake of Smithville, Oklahoma, and his sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Carole Nunn of Houston, Texas, David Cindy Nunn of Houston, Texas, Michael Wilson of Smithville, Oklahoma and Jason Wilson of Smithville, Oklahoma , and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sally and Lewis Johnson of Atlanta, Texas, Beth and Greg Scott of Texarkana, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Jenny Nunn of Linden, Texas and George and Theresa Posey of Anchorage, Alaska, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday September 16, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown, AR.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 17, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Wilton First Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Woodard officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Atlanta, TX under the direction of Madden Funeral Home.

A meal for family and friends will be provided at 1:00 pm at Wilton First Baptist Church in the fellowship hall prior to the Funeral Service.
