Glenda Sue Horn Powell, 71, of Foreman, AR passed away in a local hospital on April 29, 2017. She was born October 4, 1945 in Foreman, AR to Ernest Jacob Horn and Edith Winifred Carver. Mrs. Powell was a homemaker. Mrs. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Dale Powell of Foreman, AR, one son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne & Brittney Powell of DeKalb, TX: one daughter and son-in-law, Anita & Brandon Carver of Foreman, AR: one sister Bobbie Keeney of Foreman, AR: two grandchildren, Jared Carver & Dejza Cleere.

She spent her life being a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and homemaker. She loved her family, church, and being outdoors. She was also a breast cancer survivor. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Foreman with Barry Bobbitt officiating on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Blackland Cemetery, Foreman, AR. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening 6-8 p.m. at Madden Funeral Home, Foreman, AR.
