Evelyn Demaris Spigner , 91, of Ashdown, AR passed away June 24, 2016

Mrs. Spigner was born December 2, 1924 in Ashdown, AR to Amalga and Demaris Simmons. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ashdown, AR. And she owned Blue Ribbon Shoe Store for over 55 years. She is preceded in death by her parents , Amalga and Demaris Simmons; husband; Eunice Spigner; one brother, Don Simmons; two sisters, Dorothy Walker, and Diane Pickett.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth S. and Tommy Green of Ashdown, AR; one grandson and his wife, Tommy JR. and Mandy Green; and great grandson, Lawson Green.

Visitation will be Monday June 27, 2016 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown, AR.

Graveside Service will be Tuesday June 28, 2016 at 10:00 am at Ashdown Cemetery in Ashdown, AR under the direction of Madden Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm at First United Methodist Church in Ashdown, AR with Jim Cross officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Ashdown, AR or the American Cancer Society.
