Dorothy Turner Cooley, 94, of Texarkana, TX passed away October 8, 2017 in Texarkana, TX. She was born November 24, 1922 in Ogden, AR to John and Maggie Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Major William D. Cooley, Jr. and four brothers, Irvin Turner, James (Chief) Turner, George Turner, and John Turner Jr.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law Mark and Becky Cooley of Texarkana, AR, two daughters and one son-in-law, Ann and Billy Shultz of Mission Viejo, CA and Debbie Cooley Huff of Little Rock, AR, one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Gayle Turner of Ogden, AR, one sister-in-law, Myrtle Lee Turner of Ashdown, AR, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 6:00 -8:00 at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown, AR. Services will be Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 10:00 am at Madden Funeral Home with Kat Burchfield officiating. Interment to follow at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, Nash, TX.
