Allie Mae Pounds 95, of Ashdown departed this life on April 14, 2017 in a local nursing home. Allie was born July 21, 1921 in Dierks, AR to William and Vina Golden. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Allie is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Billy and Doris Pounds of Ashdown; two sisters Penney Terry of Houston, TX, and Faye Ahrend of New Caney, TX; two grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Ashdown with Corey Perkins and Dale Wooten officiating. Internment will be in the Ashdown Cemetery. Services under the direction of Madden Funeral Home.
