I am saddened by the loss of Lawanda. She was our librarian at Kilpatrick and was loved all. She touched the minds and hearts of every child including my own Johna, Jamie and Jack Cullen. I treasure the memories I have of her.

My sincere sympathy to all of LaWanda's family, especially to the two with whom I had the most contact, Robin and Melanie. Both of you and all of your family are in my prayers. I am so very sorry for your loss.

My sympathies to the family, most beloved by LaWanda. I met her many years ago through tennis. My favorite memory is when LaWanda and friends Sherri and Linda would come to my house in Hooks and play "country tennis". We played, chased balls in the pasture when they would go out and picnicked under the trees and ate watermelon from the garden! What fun we had traveling also. Love for her family was evident and obvious in all she said

I am so sorry about Lawanda. We spent many hours on the tennis courts playing on a 3.5 tennis team. I have a special picture of her at Northridge dressed as Santa's Elf with my daughter when she was so young . That little girl is now a Mother and Lawanda was always leaving sweet comments on her FB page. Prayers for the entire family that she was always talking about and loved so much.

Robin, Melanie and Frank, I am so sorry about Lawanda. We had lots of fun in PTA and band. Cancer knows no boundaries as we both know. All of you will be in my prayers. Surely she and Kim will run into each other because I know they are both in heaven.

Lawanda's bubbly enthusiasm was wonderfully contagious! It was great fun getting to know her, working at church together, and sharing long talks. What a true blessing to have such a friend. Lawanda is now free from trials and pain. While we all will miss her being here with us, what merciful grace she knows. To the family, I would like to say you were SO very blessed that she was part of your lives. God's comfort to all of you.
